- We use Google Analytics only on our information pages for parents, and only if you choose Accept.
- We never use advertising cookies, and nothing tracks the story, player or library pages.
What this policy covers
This policy covers cookies and similar browser storage (such as local storage) on www.cocoloops.com. The Cocoloops app does not use cookies. It keeps your sign-in, device token and playback settings in its own storage on your phone, and it contains no analytics or advertising software.

The service needs these to work, so they do not need your consent.

Signing in also uses browser storage created by Google Firebase Authentication. It is removed when you sign out.

Analytics cookies (only with your consent)
We use Google Analytics to count visits to our information pages and see how parents found us. It can run only on: the landing page, pricing, the blog, About, and our Privacy, Terms and Refund pages.
It never runs on the home page, browse or search, story and playlist pages, the player, the library, your profile, subscription pages, sign-in pages, this page or our privacy note for children.

Google Signals, advertising storage, advertising user data and ad personalisation are switched off for every visitor. Google Analytics keeps the data for 2 months.
When analytics is switched on
Google Analytics is not loaded until you choose Accept in our cookie banner. Reject is on the same screen, with the same size and style, and Customize lets you choose by category. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, Google Analytics stays off whatever you choose.
Advertising cookies
We do not use any. There is no advertising, advertising pixel or social media tracking on the website or in the app.
Changing your choice
- Use at any time. The same link is in the site menu and footer.
- We ask again after 6 months, or sooner if this policy changes.
- If you withdraw consent, we stop Google Analytics, tell Google consent is denied, and delete the
_gacookies from your browser. - You can also block cookies in your browser. If you block necessary cookies, signing in and playback will not work.
Our record of your choice
When you choose, we record a random ID, your choice, the time, and the banner version. We do not record your IP address or browser details with it. We keep this record for 5 years to show that consent was given.
